Fundraising Requirements

When you join TEAM FIGHT, you are not only committing to playing an active role in the young adult cancer fight, you are committing to raising awareness and funds to further support the mission of the Ulman Cancer Fund.

For each race you sign up for with TEAM FIGHT, you have a fundraising commitment tied to that race. The fundraising commitment depends on the type and distance of the race. These commitments are outlined below. 

Our goal is to make sure you are successful in not only meeting, but also exceeding, your fundraising goals. You will be given a customized fundraising page when you join TEAM FIGHT as way for you to share your story and help you track your fundraising progress. We also offer numerous tools and templates to assist you in your fundraising efforts.

Your timeline for fundraising is determined by your race start dateAll fundraising money is due within seven days of completion of the race. If you are doing more than one race with TEAM FIGHT and you exceed your fundraising goal for your first race, the surplus can be applied to your following race(s).

TEAM FIGHT 2013 Fundraising Commitments**

  • 5K & 10K Run – $250
  • Half Marathon, 10-miler – $500
  • Relay (triathlon) – $500 (per person)
  • Relay (marathon) – $250 (per person)
  • Sprint Triathlon, Olympic Triathlon, Full Marathon – $750
  • NYC Marathon – $2,500 (limited spots available)
  • 70.3 Distance / Half Rev Distance – $1,000
  • 140.6 Distance / Full Rev Distance – $1,500

**If you have chosen to have TEAM FIGHT pay your registration fee for the race(s), you are responsible for the full commitment. If you have registered and paid for the race(s), the cost of race registration is deducted from the full commitment.
