Workout Details HOWARD COUNTY:
Tues 6:30pm – FEET FIRST RUN: Join our new coaches, Janelle McIntyre and Jessica Sleight, for NO DROP run. No drop? That means it doesn’t matter what your pace, you won’t be left behind!!! Please join us at Feet First, 6420 Freetown Road Columbia, MD 21044. Free parking and meet at the FF store front in the Hickory Ridge Village Center.
Thursday PM – TF RUN/SWIM: 6:30pm/8pm: Feel free to come to one or both workouts. Run will start from Howard County Community College’s Fitness Center parking lot at 6:30pm. The group will decide the distance, usually b/w 2 and 5 miles or an A and B group. Swim will follow starting at 8pm. Swim is open to participants of all skills and abilities. Lanes are split up based on experience and we always keep a lane open for additional one on one instruction. Saturday 7AM – BAGEL RUN: Every Saturday morning join the Howard County Striders for an informal 7-20 mile run. Courses are well laid out on Columbia’s path system and residential streets. Open to runners of all skills and abilities. Run starts in front of the Columbia Swim Center in the Wilde Lake Village Center. 10400 Cross Fox Lane, Columbia, MD 21044
Sunday 8AM: Trail Run: Sunday mornings join us for an easy to medium pace. I hour loop for beginner and 2-3 loop(s) at a medium pace for advanced/experienced trail runners. Meeting Place: Rockburn Park entrance off of Landing Road, top parking lot across from main shelter/bathrooms. BTW the bathrooms are heated. Click here for address and directions. This is a Mid MD Tri Club workout but all Team Fighters are welcome and encouraged to show up and run! Bill Wheeler will lead these runs.

NEW Wednesday 6:00PM: HUMP DAY 5k: Run with our President/CEO, Brock Yetso from the UCF office in Baltimore office every Wednesday (921 East Fort Ave, Baltimore, MD 21230, right by the Wine Market Restaurant). Meet for drinks after at Green Turtle at McHenry Row. Simple as that, if no one shows, Brock gets a run in and becomes a lonely regular at Green Turtle
NEW Thursday 6:15PM: Charm City Fun Run: Lead by Deirdre Weidock from the new Charm City Run location in downtown Baltimore at McHenry Row: 1713 Whetstone Way Baltimore, MD 21230. It’s the new complex with Harris Teeter– you can access it from Key Highway or Fort Avenue, and there is FREE PARKING in the Harris Teeter Garage. The Charm City Run store front is on the left between Dogma and Massage Envy. When in doubt– look for all the spandex and neon colors (since we will all dress to alert cars to our presence!) Route sheets for 3-6 miles are provided and go to Federal Hill, then along the inner harbor promenade headed towards Harbor East, then back along the promenade to Key Highway and then McHenry Row. There will also be water waiting for you at the end of the run. All paces are welcomed— bring friends, pets, family– as long as they don’t bite and like runners (this goes friends and dogs).
Saturday 9 AM: Towson Hot Bagels Run on Boston St: Saturday mornings meet at the corner of Boston and Clinton St. for a 3-6 mile run loop on the Baltimore waterfront. There is FREE street parking next to THB! Meet at the corner of Boston and Clinton Streets by Towson Hot Bagels, 3301 Boston Street, Baltimore, MD 21224. All paces are welcomed— bring friends, pets, family– as long as they don’t bite and like runners (this goes friends and dogs).

RETURNING MARCH 2012 – Sunday AM: Bike Rides 9am: The ride leaves Princeton Sports Columbia (10730 Little Patuxent Parkway, Columbia, MD) and covers most of the roads used in the Columbia Triathlon. Princeton Sports will provide several employees to help lead the ride and help with any technical support needed. There will be an A and B group based off of your speed, skill and comfort level. This route has a number of hills so be prepared to climb. A road bike is highly recommended and helmet is required.
